The Old Man woke up at 5:45 this gloomy Saturday morning. His alarm clock pushed him out of bed, but as his feet touched the floor, he was already thinking about his Blogging Table. In a few minutes, The Wife and Small Dog will roll out of bed, and he and Small Dog will take their obligatory walk around the block.

Blogging is a wonderful outlet for the Old Man, who is quite introverted and communicates much more freely with the keyboard than he does verbally. His three younger brothers are progressively more extroverted and gregarious, roughly in descending birth order. Friends of the two youngest brothers are always amazed to learn that they are related to Old Man. It is what it is.
